I worked as a Senior Manager on the team that supports delivery of a Capita contract with a local London Borough. Alongside my portfolio role of Head of Performance and Risk Management, I also led on the Diversity and Inclusion agenda within the local contract as well as key ED&I roles within the wider Capita Plc group.

Supported by a dedicated HR Business Partner, represent the business and management in monthly meetings with the Trade Union staff representatives where staffing matters, concerns, issues, and questions are tabled and discussed. Provide a listening ear, address staffing issues and concerns for early intervention and resolution to avoid conflict, industrial action, and adverse staff morale.

Capita Black Lives Matter (BLM) Advisory Committee.

A key member of the Advisory Group appointed to guide and provide constructive feedback to CAPITA’s Executive Committee in support of commitments made to improve D&I, development, and representation for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic colleagues across all tiers of the workforce.

Subgroup 1 of the CAPITA BLM Advisory Group responsible for workstream- Promote an Inclusive Workplace and raise awareness.

CAPITA Reverse Mentoring programme to promote diversity and inclusion.
Mentor senior executives within the business in a 1to1 relationship as part of a Corporate wide programme to combat structural racism, promote anti-racism and tackle unconscious bias.
