Coach, support and mentor

Listening and empathy are two essential skills for any professional who wants to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with others, but this is especially important when tacking issues of equality, diversity and inclusion within the workplace.

For business leaders and people managers, effective listening and empathy can benefit work place conversations in many ways. Together, these skills can help create a work environment that fosters trust, collaboration, and mutual respect.

Staff Coaching
Six (1 to 1) Sessions

Coaching Goals

Empower and increase confidence amongst Indigenous, Black, Asian and minority ethnic colleagues to aspire and take bold steps to spotlight their own value, talent and potential as a springboard for their careers.

Help colleagues identify opportunities and develop personal action plans and steps to access them for career development.

Develop and contribute to growing the talent and leadership pipeline from amongst Indigenous, Black, Asian and minority ethnic colleagues.

The Coaching Approach

Help Coachees identify how the lack of ‘seeing’ role models in senior leadership that look like them might have impacted and stunted their own aspirations and self belief for those tiers of management.

Acknowledge, take ownership and then steps to become self-empowered, move forward to take hold of their own future, career path and opportunities to fulfil their goals and aspirations.

Help Coachees identify blockers and develop a strategy for overcoming them.

Help Coachees identify and take hold of opportunities and options on how best to use them to their benefit and furtherance of career goals.

Help Coachees identify their options.

Move from passive to proactive

Move from ‘can’t do’ to ‘can do’.

Finally, go where the coaching conversation and coachee leads, even if it is somewhere completely different to the focus and starting point of this particular coaching programme.
